It’s June, half a year through 2009 and I’m 25. So it’s the beginning of the month and again, I’m broke. Spent RM1499 for the netbook plus another rm85 for ram upgrade and rm132 for the extra 1 year warranty. Not only that, I just bought 2 PS3 games yesterday! Oh halp! Well it’s a used one so the hole isn’t as deep with getting a new one. Valkyria Chronicles R1 an RPG, Strategy action turn based game and Disgaea 3 a simple Final Fantasy like game both for RM250. Consider it ok if u think it I get rm125 for each when new games are selling around rm200.
Facebook Phenomena
Everyone and their mother uses facebook. The first ever social networking site I used was community zero, after that was friendster. CZ was damn cool at that time where who can customize the page with flash and all. friendster just recently updated their page to be able to use css and add multimedia stuff. facebook page cant be customized yet. Just a matter of time I guess. but i prefer them to be that way, simple look.
facebook is a great place to connect and get updated but sometimes ppl are just taking advantage on how simple this thing gets you connected. for example on birthday wishes, ppl used to write you letters back on the old days, give birthday cards and wishing you happy birthday on the phone. if their cheap enough just by texting is considered lame. now ppl just write a simple 1 liner on your facebook wall on your birthday. no more cards, sms, phone calls. sigh.
same goes for their wedding ceremony. like how they just create an invitation “you have been invited to” bla bla rsvp, yes,no,maybe. Ppl are getting lazier by each year. Damn sad now how they arent even calling or sending their wedding cards anymore. I just want to say sorry if I dont reply to their invitations via facebook, it’s just lame. it feels like you’re nothing but a stranger.
One more thing that I find annoying is the freaking quizzes. I really hate those ppl who post their stupid lame retarded quiz results in bulk on 5-10 in 1 go. Damn spamming my screen since what I like to do on facebook is checking out pictures and status updates. Nice that they have that on the tab but its not on default rite? No one cares if you’re a nerd or gangster during highschool, when you’ll get rich or how you’ll end up in 10yrs time quizzes. They’re just freaking fictional answers and questions that don’t serve any purpose. Why waste time on those beats me.
Neways, times running out. Im on my netbook connected using Celcom prepaid broadband. Daily usage ends soon. Seems like Celcom is broadband is a good alternative when mobile with their vast coverage.

A Quater of Century
Posting on a newly bought Netbook which is an Acer D250. Abit hard to get used to the small keyboard and typing while watching anime on my pc. Cant concentrate coz this to aru majutsu no index episode is kinda messed up, lol.
Anyhow, decided on choosing the Acer model because of it’s slimness, the build quality and the keyboard button placements. The salesman was recomending the Asus 1000HE but it only comes in white, thicker and the right shift key is in awkward placing. The Acer black/grey silver looks much better although the battery life is not as much as the asus’.
Cheaper than the Asus by rm200 although I found out later that the guy marked up the Asus price by abit. Lucky didn’t get that one. Included with the Asus netbook were the cooling pad which i find really useful to keep my legs cool, mic and earphone, usb hub, usb mouse and the kensington lock.
On another note, I am still trying to translate Suzumiya Haruhi episode 8 in Malay. Hahaha, stupid I know. My Japanese isn’t good, English is bad and my Malay is weak. Why I thought of subbing in Malay is just because there aren’t that many groups doing it. I count only one in Tokyotosho. I don’t blame them since after half length of the Haruhi episode I found myself using weird weird Malay. They way Japanese people talk is totally different from the Malay I know. What Im trying to do is using normal everyday spoken Malay and not like words coming from the dictionary. Still, its hard to think of the words..hmm. Reason is I talk in Malay but my mind says in English even when I talk to myself.
Before I end, Animax on Astro will be showing Hayate no Gotoku S1 next month! Shakugan no Shana S2 in July. Can’t wait to watch again Hayate’s puns on a 42″ lcd tv. Too bad not in High Def.
What’s with Arsene??
Playing only 1 striker infront, what the hell is his problem? Putting Fabianski on goal, Abou Diaby in mid and Silvestre the worst combo ever. Letting in 4 goals against Liverpool, 3 to Man Utd and another 4 to Chelsea. Seriously what the hell was his problem?
Diaby has lovely long legs but really fail at controlling first touch. Same goes to Adebayor, what a retard first touch the ball always goes away from him. Fabianski, sigh everyone knows he’s a damn stupid keeper to be at Arsenal, always rushing out like a mad cow. No composure at all. Silvestre , why on earth did Arsene got him from Man Utd. Obviously he fails at man marking.

WoW Maintenance post
It’s tuesday meaning no WoW for 6-8 hours! OMG. fail. No yamcha today don’t know why. Good enough since I’m also broke.
Made a prank to Nabil and Wern earlier today lol! They thought my account got hacked because I didn’t reply to the channel since I was busy leveling my JC and made Nabil called me hahaha. Told him I was in OU when actually I was in the game. Made him emo /wrist.
Talking about JC my DK finally leveled both JC and Inscription to past 400 skill points! Awesome that I don’t have to farm that Sons of Holdir rep for the shoulder enchant and also nice dps gems! Most of the herbs to level Inscribe were bought off AH coz my druid herbalist is still low level. For JC my warrior had to farm almost all the ores like mad since the prices in AH for them are ridiculous except saronite. Well, had some fun killing off Pally/DK allies farmers in the same time while mining. That took off some pressure.
Still selling 60 days WoW gamecodes for RM95 or 3000 gold. Any takers?
QQ Meeting
Tuesday was another day that we WoW players go out and meet up, then talk about WoW somemore lol. Our usual place is Sri Hartamas. Although there’s no downtime or maintenance during that night we still insist on the meeting. This Tuesday wasn’t just like any normal Tuesdays just because Yak ordered a new phone from me. Nokia E71! Also Momo’s birthday yesterday!
Meet up at Spicy! and I had Nasi Lemak Ayam eventho I’ve already eaten Nasi Paprik at Juara Tom Yam an hour earlier. Our discussion this week is the norm QQing. Like how we got tapau during the last Futsal game, someone /gquit and the crazy weather during F1 Sepang. But what bothers me was the Malay group beside us that were drinking beers. Roughly their age around 20 I think. ish ish ish dunno what to say man. I only drink Nescafe Tarik there in Decanters lol.
After that I got back home, play WoW abit while waiting for Arsenal vs Villareal match. Ended up 1-1 draw. Arsenal played like shit..only 1 striker? Cannot make it man.
