Royal Adelaide Show 2005

Every year there will be a week where you can never stop spending. Adelaide is called the City of Festivals for a reason. Started on 2nd of September til the 10th of September, this event was held in Royal Adelaide Showground where university students around South Australia (Uni of Adelaide, Uni of SA & Uni of Flinders) take their exams there as well. I don’t know if they have this event at the Showground every year but if I’m not mistaken, they did at the same place last year too. I can’t say I know much about this because this year is my only first time being in there. Not like I’ve been to many events in K.L too anyways.

Adelaide City Mosque

Come to think of it, I’ve never ever mention about the mosque in Adelaide. Odd but there was nothing to mention about even though I go to the mosque once a week (only Friday). It is just like any other mosque but ofcourse no where like any Islamic country’s mosque.

I can still remember the first time I’m in Adelaide and trying to search for the mosque. Had to walk all the way from Victoria Square to Little Gouger street if I’m not mistaken where the mosque is. I didn’t know there was a direct bus from Rundle Mall that stops just at the back of the mosque (baka me). I’ve never even pray Tarawikh during the Ramadhan in the Adelaide mosque too. I wonder why. So anyhow, when the mosque was right in front of me for the first time I thought “You sure this is a mosque and not a surau (a smaller version of a mosque)?” It’s just because most of the mosque in Malaysia are so big! Like really big okay and so beautiful with art works inside it. The Adelaide mosque has 2 floors of praying area which the top floor is half the size of the bottom floor.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I have watched it. Enjoyed it. Loved it. Going to buy the DVD when the US version comes out.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and fluid the animation were. My two years of waiting was worth it.

Penang Week in Adelaide

I was quite surprised when I saw big advertisement all over Rundle Mall a few days ago. The first thing I noticed about the advertisement was the people inside it. Hm, they look like Malay to me. Usually I wouldn’t bother much about ads hanging around in Rundle Mall but this one is different. It has the word PENANG in it. Although I am not from Penang, it IS still a Malaysian state.

Moshiwake Gozaimasen! Late but certainly not forgotten. I’ve been doing other things and couldn’t get my mind on writing the review although this entry has been in my ”draft” right after I finished watching this episode. Fortunately, I’ve completed my IT concepts assignment and handed it yesterday. Other things that kept me busy was WoW, CS: Source and ofcourse PSP. Enough about my story, Walle Fansubs have released episode 03 on the 23rd August. It has been more than a week and now I’ll continue to write where I left.

Yamada-san has finally meet his dream girl! Wow and I thought they would twist the show a little bit like someone else appeared infront of his face and not Aoyama-san, get what I mean? So they actually meet each other face to face and Yamada-san gets nervous. The first question from him is “How do I look?” Is that really normal for a first time date to say that? I should try that line sometime when I go out with a girl. Guess what? The day when both of them were on the train, Aoyama-san didn’t wear her contacts and couldn’t really recognize Yamada-san. Yamada-san feels very very relief that she didn’t know that he’s an otaku! Yokatta ne? But, chotto matteeeeeeee!!!!! If really Aoyama-san couldn’t tell how Yamada-san looked like when he was on the train and didn’t wear contacts, how on earth did Aoyama-san read the Dan Brown’s book, I suppose it is Angels & Demon? Hmm?? Don’t get too happy yet Yamada-san.
